Rosemany (Darcey) Augsburger ’53 and her husband Dave are sad to announce the death of their son John Augsburger. John was 53 years old and a retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. The Augsburgers will appreciate your prayers.

Lenz ’68, and Gail (Ferguson) Schwab ’68 reunited for their annual visit in Madison and spent time visiting campus.

Leslie S. Chartier ’05 was ordained into the Unitarian Universalist ministry on July 16, 2017 in Corvallis, Oregon.  She is hoping to be a chaplain in hospice/end of life care. (far left)

Angela McDonnell ’07 was honored by the American Society of Plant Taxonomists as the 2017 recipient of the George R. Cooley Award. This is considered one of the most prestigious early-career honors offered in the field of plant sciences. (far right)

Pernille Ripp ’08 is excited of the release of her fourth book, Passionate Readers-The Art of Reaching and Engaging Every Child. The book was released in August from Routledge and is meant to help teachers create passionate reading communities.

Kristen Raney, Ed.D., ’13 began a new role as Vice President of Academic Affairs for Saint Paul College in St. Paul Minnesota.

Amy (Swanson) Dillon ’13 and Thomas Dillon celebrated their wedding on August 12, 2017.

Suzie Chang ’15 began a position as Hall Director at UW-River Falls, supervising the Connections Living Learning Community. Connections supports first year students in their transition from high school to college by connecting students to academic, cultural, and social resources, providing opportunities for students to interact with faculty on campus, and by collaborating with the Aspire Program— a peer mentor program designed for students of color and/or low-income and first generation students.

Lindsay Bingham ’17 was excited to begin a new job as a Registered Nurse at Unity-Point Hospital Meriter in Madison in the Obstetrics & Gynecology unit.

Delaney McGuire ’17 began a new job as a Financial Analyst at Babcox & Wilcox in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Diana Moran Thundercloud, MA ’17 began a new position at UW-LaCrosse teaching courses in the Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Diana is also finishing up her Superintendent license through Viterbo University with the Tomah School District in Tomah, Wisconsin.
